LIVALL Launches Voice Control for PikaBoost 2 and Smart Helmets

Riders can now operate turn signals, riding modes, cruise speed, and status checks by voice — with no screen and no hands off the bars.

LOS ANGELES — June 2, 2026 — LIVALL, maker of the world's first smart cycling helmet, today announced the trial release of its AI Voice Assistant, bringing hands-free, screen-free voice control to the PikaBoost 2 e-bike conversion kit and LIVALL smart helmets.

Using the Talk button on the LIVALL Clip, riders can issue spoken commands to control turn signals, switch riding modes, adjust cruise speed, and check device status — without looking at a phone or screen. The feature supports English and Chinese at launch, with additional languages planned.

What Riders Can Say

Command What Happens
turn left / turn right Activate turn signals
start cruise Enter cruise mode
speed up / slow down Adjust cruise speed
assist mode / workout mode Switch riding modes
check battery Read out current battery level
current mode Read out the active riding mode

“Twelve years ago, we freed the rider's hands. Today, it's their eyes' turn,” said Brian Zheng, Founder and CEO of LIVALL. “We built the engine to listen, not to test the rider. The job of the technology is to handle the variation; the job of the brand is to keep things simple.”

About the Trial Release

The AI Voice Assistant is currently in trial phase. Activation requires the LIVALL Clip, a PikaBoost 2, and a compatible LIVALL smart helmet, all connected via the LIVALL Riding App (Bluetooth on). Talk-button wake is via the LIVALL Clip only; for safety reasons, riders are advised not to reach for helmet controls while riding. The voice assistant yields automatically when the LIVALL Riding App walkie-talkie is in use.

The Voice Assistant is the first step in LIVALL's broader roadmap — Smart Helmet to AI Helmet to AI Riding Hub to Riding AIOS — toward an integrated intelligent riding system. Future development is aimed at active safety capabilities, including detecting vehicles approaching from behind.

LIVALL holds 180+ patents and 50+ international design and innovation awards, including the iF Gold Award, and sells in 50+ countries.

The AI Voice Assistant is available now in trial release through the LIVALL Riding App.
